International  Children  Festival

                                                                                                            "Sun - Youth - Beauty"

                                                                                                                15.06 - 19.06.2011

We invite all Bulgarian and foreign children's and youth's creative groups under 21 years to take a place in the programme of the Second International  Festival of Children's  Creativity - Nessebar 2011.

Nessebar is a town at Bulgarian Black Sea coast near the summer resort Sunny Beach. The history of this small town spreads thousands of years ago.  It is placed on a peninsula with unique nature and lots of ancient buildings in it. Sunny Beach is a world famous resort with many sand dunes and excellent beaches.

The Ninth International  Festival of Children's  Creativity - Nessebar 2011 is organized by Local children complex with cooperation of Local Authority and Balkantourist - LTD., Sunny Beach. There will be special prizes for "Musical Pedagogue", "Choreography", "Children's Creative Group" and other.

This festival will help the children to show their special talents and increase their artistic routine. We want to introduce the Bulgarian culture and habits to our guests and turn this festival to a great celebration for all.

This festival is on 15^th June every year.

Organization

Our festival is divided into two different parts - competition and showcase. Every collective can choose taking a part in each one or in both of them.

In this festival may take a place:

• Choreographic collectives
• Folklore collectives
• Academic choruses, ensembles and soloist's
• Vocal groups and performers of entertaining music.
• Pop and brass band
• Artist's; Painter's.
• Artists, Circus acrobatics, sport rock-and-roll

and other.

Age Categories

-          from 6 to7 years old

-          from 8 to 10 years old

-          from 10 to 14 years old

-          from 15 to 18 years old

-          from 18 to 21 years old

FESTIVAL SCHEDULLE

1.Competition by nominations:

Vocal                          - folklore songs - soloists and ensembles

                                   - academic songs - soloists and choruses

                                   - pop music - soloists and vocal groups.

Choreography                 - classic ballet

                                   - folklore dances

                                   - sport dances, step, sport rock-and-roll

                                   - ballet

Fine art -  3 days

Instrumental performances:

- piano, violin and other classical instruments

- folklore instruments

Competitions: "Miss & Mr. Festival" and "Mini Miss and Mini Mr. Festival"

2. Creative marathon - concerts

3. Excursions and entertainments.

4. Festival Grand Opening - Introducing all the collectives - Closing Gala Concert of  Prize-winners, Exhibition of The Artists

Conditions of Participation

Our festival is divided into two different parts - competition and showcase. Every collective can choose taking a part in each one or in both of them. The request for participation is being specified in the Application of participation.

І. Stage. The groups have to send until 30.04.2011,e-mail: inter.holiday@abv.bg  the following documents:

1.Inquiry  - Creativity Order

2.Advertising materials.

ІІ. Stage. Festival will lead from 15 - 19 June.

1.The participants have to show two compositions (each maximum of 5 minutes) in each ordered style of nomination.

2.For the participants in "Pop Song" nomination only 1 song in foreign language is allowed. For the participants in "Folk Song" nominations, 1 of the songs must be without musical accompaniment. The participants in the "Vocal" nomination must have only instrumental record. Play back is not allowed.

The groups may take a place only in the festival program

3.The timetable will be ready 5 days earlier from the date of opening.

After that changes are not allowed.

4.The jury decides which of the participants will perform at the gala concert..

5.Till 30^th May 2011 the participants have to inform us about their arriving and leaving dates.

The vocal performances  must be alive with accompaniment .Playback and duplicate are not allowed.

The performers of entertaining music  are needed one performance of their mother language and one more that can be  in a foreign language.

The singers of folk songs have to perform:

Until 10 years old-two quick songs with accompaniment

Over 10 years old - one slow song and a quick one.

Over 14 years old are not welcome in this competition.

The participants in Art competition have to know:

In the competition no more than three works 50/70  will be done./all materials can be used/The subject will be known at the day of opening.There must be  name, age,town,country,and leader's name  on the works.The works must be left in the children complex .

Each participant uses own materials.

The works won awards will be left  in the fond of the festival.

For the Miss and Mister  Festival  and Mini-Miss and Mini-Mister participants

Have to fill an application form  and to attach a photo.

They have to wear:

1.National clothes  /from their country/

2.for miss and  Mini-miss  whole swimming suit/two parts are not  allowed/.Hats ,caps etc. are welcome/

For Mister and Mini-Mister sport   youth clothes are needed .

3.Clothes made of untraditional materials.

4.Evening official clothes -suits/for the boys and dresses for the girls/ are needed for the day of  awards.

5.Shoes and clothes for the repetitions.

All clothes have to be made from the participants and their parents and there must be suitable shoes to them.

Finances

The cost for 1 participant is 40 lv.If some of the  participants has an extra part they pay extra .

For Miss and Mister  Festival  and Mini-Miss and Mini-Mister the cost is 60 lv.

The transport and accommodation  the participants organize themselves or order them in their  applications.
